Custom film grain plates
Do you need custom film grain plates for your production?
We can shoot film grain plates in 35mm and 16mm in all current KODAK film stock, 5222 (b&w), 5203 (50D), 5213 (200T), 5207 (250D) and 5219 (500T) and provide full aperture scans up to 10K resolution. Get bracketed exposures for each stock.
We scan 35mm, 16mm and 8mm, negative or print film at up to 10K resolution using the Director 10K, Scanity HDR and our custom built scanner. Film grain plates are delivered in DPX format or to your production’s required specifications.

Custom encoding of existing film grain plates
We can export any RGrain 2.0 film grain plates into any custom format to fit any productions’ needs.
Whether you need LOG sources, higher resolutions, other color spaces or lossless file formats like DPX or TIFF sequences, we can deliver any film grain overlay from our current library at up to 5.5K resolution.
We currently have over 30 high resolution scans of fresh and expired stocks from Kodak and Fuji in 35mm, 16mm and 8mm.
